We are now hiring for an entry-level life insurance professional with Fixed Salary plus bonusNo Commission. Responsible for selling insurance policies, including Life, Disability, Long Term care, Fix Annuity, etc. Life Insurance sales professional generate new business by contacting potential consumers, business owners, customers and selling one or more types of insurance. Life Insurance sales professional explain various insurance policies and help clients choose plans that suit them.

Job Requirements:

  • Keen to learn new skills, and receive technical assistance in developing new accounts
  • Understand and explain features, advantages, and disadvantages of various policies to promote sale of life insurance plans
  • Must evaluate the characteristics of each client to determine the appropriate insurance policy
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with customers by listening to their requests and suggesting suitable policies
  • Need to actively seek out new customers to maintain a flow of commissions for agency to get salary
  • Should be confident when making “cold” calls (calls to prospective customers who have not been contacted before).
  • Must speak clearly and persuasively and maintain their composure if rejected

Job responsibilities:

  • Seek out insurance leads and new clients
  • Daily cold call and email marketing for new business
  • Maintain reports and records of insurance policies
  • Obtain price quotes and process applications
  • Utilize software to respond quote inquires for insurance
  • Maintain regular contact with clients and consumers
  • Follow up with policy requirements, including medical examinations and the completion of appropriate forms
  • Follow up underwriter and submit forms to obtain binder coverage.
  • Sell various types of insurance policies to businesses and individuals on behalf of insurance companies, including Life, Disability, Long Term care, Fix Annuity, etc.
  • Option to offer property-casualty insurance, variable security products, mutual funds and variable annuities, if licensed

Required Skills:

  • Ability to study and obtain NJ State Life insurance License (will provide training guidance to get license)
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required
  • Sales ability and excellent customer-service skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Must be highly organized and able to prioritize and meet deadlines
  • Ability to manage multi-tasking
  • MUST have Computer and internet skills including MS Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Excellent presentation and negotiation skills in selling AND closing business accounts

PAY

  • Fixed Salary
